  • Recognise and be able to work with a variety of consensual non-monogamous relationship structures
  • Understand and work with the impact of micro-aggressions, minority stress, and intersectionality as it relates to GSRD clients
  • Understand how to use micro-affirmations in the therapeutic relationship and why they are needed
  • Be able to identify and respond to issues of violence and control in intimate partner relationships
  • Work with normative bias and internalised homo/bi/trans/monophobia within yourself and your clients and explore how this impacts relationships
  • Understand the specific needs of GSRD groups when working with a sexual focus (trans and NB bodies in particular)
  • Be able to differentiate between asexual/aromantic presentations and low sexual desire
  • Be able to differentiate between kink/BDSM sexual practice and issues around power and violence within GSRD relationships
